His magic career began at the age of 12 with a simple child’s magic kit. His love of this performance art grew as he performed magic shows for children’s birthday parties and civic organizations. Now, he still loves performing children’s shows near Milwaukee. But he also performs sophisticated magic for adults throughout the Midwest. Though his shows range from silly to the amazing, his dedication to providing the best possible entertainment is down right serious.

Scott Obermann has been around for a few years, but Great Scott didn’t have a birthday until he was 12 years old. That’s the year Scott became interested in magic and Great Scott was born. “It was the old Bill Bixby series “The Magician” that piqued my interest”, says Scott. After receiving a magic kit at his birthday party, and then learning a few more secrets from some great Milwaukee magicians, he was hooked.
Over the years, Scott has worked in some great professions, writer, corporate trainer, salesperson, electronics. But magic is the one that rose to the top. Now a professional magician, he loves performing for people of all ages. “It’s just so much fun to entertain people with magic,” says Scott. Entertainment is a passion.
And entertainment is a big part of what he does. However, he has blended his magic with his work as a trainer and his love of children and now offers motivational and educational shows for elementary schools as well. “This truly is a passion for me,” says Scott. “Being able to impact the youth of today in a positive way is a privilege and a joy — one I’ll be enjoying the rest of my life.”
The corporate world wasn’t forgotten completely though. You’ll find Scott working his wonders right in front of guests at a corporate banquet or other type of business gathering. Scott’s strolling magic is a great way to get people excited, laughing and enjoying the evening. It helps make the event more pleasant and memorable.
